Equestrian Club Kreuth | Tournaments & Parking

The Equestrian Club Kreuth stands for competitive sports with a clear focus, professional organization, and a location that appeals to riders, visitors, and organizers alike. The club is located at Gut Matheshof in Rieden OT Kreuth and uses the East Bavarian Equestrian Sports and Tournament Center as a stage for show jumping, dressage, and eventing. The environment of halls, arenas, stables, and event spaces makes the location not only a sports venue but a complete tournament site with infrastructure for large and small formats. Those searching for Equestrian Club Kreuth are often also interested in the program, directions, parking, seating plan, and images of the facility. These topics are sensibly bundled here: with a focus on the official tournament planning, practical visitor access, and the specifics of the East Bavarian Hall, which is considered the heart of the site. The location combines nature, a sporting atmosphere, and an unusually efficient infrastructure. ([reitverein-kreuth.de](https://www.reitverein-kreuth.de/?utm_source=openai))

Tournaments and Program at Equestrian Club Kreuth

On the official website, it is clearly evident that the Equestrian Club Kreuth is not a one-time venue but a continuously used tournament center. The tournaments page publishes the planning for 2026 and refers to individual events for announcements, participant information, schedules, and entries via NeOn. The archive section also shows how dense the event calendar actually is: There are several indoor show jumping tournaments, indoor dressage tournaments, and combined jumping and dressage formats from the years 2025 and 2026. This structure is particularly important for search intent because users are not only searching for the name of the location but usually for the next date, results, or specific participation information. The club works exactly with this logic by making current plans, past tournaments, and the associated documents visible. For SEO, this is a strong signal, as the location is closely linked to the topics of tournaments, program, schedule, and entries, thus providing a clear thematic depth that goes far beyond a mere address page. ([reitverein-kreuth.de](https://www.reitverein-kreuth.de/turniere/?utm_source=openai))

Additionally, the homepage explicitly connects the Equestrian Club Kreuth with show jumping, dressage, and eventing tournaments. This combination is relevant not only for athletes but also for spectators who are looking for a specific format and want to know whether an indoor show jumping tournament, a dressage tournament, or an eventing tournament is upcoming. The official website provides the right mix of overview and detail. The archive, with its many separate entries, is particularly trust-building because it makes the tournament tradition visible and does not just highlight individual highlights. For visitors, this means: Those who enter the name Equestrian Club Kreuth quickly access real tournament information, planable dates, and the typical disciplines that have shaped the location. The term program is closely linked to the current annual calendar, while search queries for photos often lead to the image world of the homepage and event pages. This creates a clear digital presence that accurately reflects the tournament identity of the location. ([reitverein-kreuth.de](https://www.reitverein-kreuth.de/?utm_source=openai))

Directions and Parking at Gut Matheshof

The directions are among the most important search topics related to the Equestrian Club Kreuth, and the official pages provide concrete, reliable information for this. The address is Hans-Nowak-Ring 1, 92286 Rieden OT Kreuth. Those traveling from Nuremberg should follow the official directions via the A6 and take the exit Amberg Süd; from Regensburg, the A93 leads towards Weiden or Schwandorf Süd. From both directions, one should then follow the signs to the East Bavarian Hall. This is equally important for tournament visitors, drivers of transporters, and participants with horse trailers because the location does not function like a normal city hall but like a large tournament site with multiple access points, halls, and functional areas. The official site also emphasizes that Gut Matheshof is only about an hour away from Nuremberg. This makes it clear: The location is well-connected without losing its rural setting. This combination of accessibility and tranquility makes it particularly attractive for events. ([reitverein-kreuth.de](https://www.reitverein-kreuth.de/kontakt-anfahrt/?utm_source=openai))

When it comes to parking, the strengths of the area become particularly evident. Around the event center, there are over 4,000 paved parking spaces as well as additional alternative areas available. These areas can be used flexibly, for example, for driving training or as camping areas. This is a real advantage for equestrian tournaments because visitor flows, deliveries, and horse transports can be spread over a large area. Instead of a cramped city center location, there is space, openness, and clear paths here. Those searching for parking at Equestrian Club Kreuth usually want to know if there is enough space on-site and how stress-free the tournament day will be. The answer is clear: Yes, the area is designed for high frequency. Combined with the signage to the East Bavarian Hall and the direct location of the tournament center, a very practical process is created for spectators and participants. This is also important for longer tournament weekends because the parking concept is designed not only for short visits but for ongoing event operations. ([gut-matheshof.de](https://www.gut-matheshof.de/de/anfahrt-lage/?utm_source=openai))

East Bavarian Hall, Seating Plan, and Room Plan

Those searching for a seating plan, seats, or room plan almost automatically end up at the East Bavarian Hall when looking for Equestrian Club Kreuth. The hall is the central building of the site and is described by Gut Matheshof as having an arena of 80 x 40 meters. This arena can be flexibly seated and can accommodate up to 6,400 visitors. Additionally, there are over 4,500 fixed seats in the grandstands, and if needed, up to 1,000 additional seating can be arranged. This flexibility explains why the search for a rigid seating plan only fits to a limited extent: The specific layout depends on the event format, whether it is equestrian sports, a show, a conference, or another type of event. Practically, this means that the East Bavarian Hall is not fixed to a single seating arrangement but is planned according to the situation. For visitors, this is good news because the hall is large, adaptable, and designed for high spectator numbers. For organizers, it is a real advantage because the seating, pathways, and use of spaces can be adjusted to the occasion. ([gut-matheshof.de](https://www.gut-matheshof.de/de/anfahrt-lage/?utm_source=openai))

Particularly interesting is the room plan around the arena. The official description mentions 17 conference rooms and six group rooms on the upper floor of the East Bavarian Hall, as well as 24 versatile rooms around the arena with a total size of up to 1,800 square meters. These rooms can be used for conferences, dressing rooms, changing rooms, or production offices. Additionally, there are catering areas and spacious sanitary facilities on the levels of the hall. The East Bavarian Hall is thus much more than just a riding hall: it is an event venue with complex infrastructure. Furthermore, the riding surface made of a sand-clay mixture, according to the official description, provides optimal conditions for equestrian events and can also be covered if necessary, for example, to avoid dust formation or to use the area as a dance floor. This is exactly why the term room plan is so fitting for the location. It describes not only seating rows but the entire functional logic of the building. So, those interested in the seating plan of Equestrian Club Kreuth are actually looking for a multifunctional hall with flexible capacity and plenty of event space. ([gut-matheshof.de](https://www.gut-matheshof.de/de/anfahrt-lage/?utm_source=openai))

Show Jumping, Dressage, and Eventing

The sporting identity of Equestrian Club Kreuth is closely linked to the disciplines of show jumping, dressage, and eventing. Even the homepage makes these three areas the core of its external presentation. This is particularly important for SEO searches because user intent often expresses itself in a specific discipline: Those searching for show jumping tournaments in Kreuth want different information than someone planning a dressage tournament or an eventing tournament. Gut Matheshof and Equestrian Club Kreuth cover this range and thus offer a location that is interesting for both classic equestrian events and combined formats. The official tournaments page and the archive show that these disciplines are not only mentioned theoretically but actually take place year after year. For spectators, this means a varied sports world with different tests and a dynamic atmosphere. For riders, on the other hand, a professional environment is created that is tailored to the specific requirements of each discipline. This combination of diversity and specialization makes the location particularly strong. ([reitverein-kreuth.de](https://www.reitverein-kreuth.de/?utm_source=openai))

The infrastructure around the sports is also impressive. Gut Matheshof describes itself as Europe's largest equestrian sports and tournament center and mentions five riding halls, including the East Bavarian Hall, eight riding arenas, an all-weather stadium, oval track, racetrack, and cross-country courses. Additionally, there are 250 hectares of pastureland and countless riding and carriage paths. For the accommodation of horses, there are 550 bright and spacious boxes in twelve stables, more than 150 luxury boxes directly connected to the halls. There are also 72 boxes in green pastures or open stables, washing areas, and solariums. These numbers are not only impressive but also explain why the location works so well for large tournaments: riders, horses, and organization come together here. A short visit often feels like a glimpse into its own sports city. So, those searching for Equestrian Club Kreuth are not just looking for a hall but a complete equestrian sports ecosystem with tournament operations, stable logistics, and versatile training areas. The official presentation makes it clear that this combination is the location advantage on which the Kreuth brand relies. ([gut-matheshof.de](https://www.gut-matheshof.de/?utm_source=openai))

Photos, History, and Services for Visitors and Participants

The search for photos of Equestrian Club Kreuth is understandable because the location thrives not only on its function but also on its atmosphere. The official homepage features large images and immediately conveys the impression of a spacious facility among meadows, forests, and sports areas. Gut Matheshof describes itself as embedded in picturesque landscapes and additionally emphasizes the nature in the Hirschwald Nature Park. This combination of sporting grandeur and tranquil surroundings is an essential part of the visual impact. At the same time, the place has a remarkable history: According to the official account, Matheshof was owned by the Spies family from 1671 to 1988. In 1954, the estate became Gut due to the marriage of the Mathes and Kredler families; in 1988, Ernst Werner Schmidt acquired the property, renovated the estate inn, and gradually created a hotel, settlement, and the current tournament center. For search queries like Equestrian Club Kreuth photos, this is important because images here also convey history. The facility appears modern but has deep roots in the region. ([gut-matheshof.de](https://www.gut-matheshof.de/?utm_source=openai))

The service around the tournament weekend is also well documented. The Equestrian Club itself explicitly points out that it does not provide its own accommodation, wellness, or gastronomic services but refers to the offerings of the operating company of Gut Matheshof. There, visitors can find, among other things, the Hotel Gut Matheshof, a wellness area, and gastronomic offerings such as the Box 2 Go restaurant right next to the entrance to the registration office and the Arena Bar above the registration office in the East Bavarian Hall. This is practical for participants, companions, and spectators who spend a long tournament day on-site. For SEO, this point is particularly valuable because practical search queries often go beyond sports: Where can you eat, where can you stay, where can you get a coffee, where do you wait for the next start? The official pages provide clear guidance for this. Together, this creates the image of a location that not only showcases events but organizes an entire daily routine at the tournament site. This is precisely why the Equestrian Club Kreuth remains attractive for equestrian sports fans, families, and participants alike: strong tournaments, clear paths, good supply, and an atmosphere that connects sport and landscape. After a long time, outdoor races that we could come and watch. Ostbayern Halle is still closed to spectators due to covid. It's a very nice place. For walks in Hirschwald. It's just spoiled by the oversized building of an unfinished hotel, or whatever it was supposed to be. The building is dilapidated, it's actually a ruin that's overgrown with grass and trees. It's obvious that no one cares about Gut Matheshof.
