D’Haagerthaler Bauernbühne brings Bavarian peasant theater with flair to Ursensollen
On April 2, 2027, the curtain will rise at kubus Ursensollen for a stage experience that draws its charm from rural playfulness, pointed wit, and a reliable theater atmosphere. For 24 years, the Haagerthaler Bauernbühne has developed a new play every year; since 2013, it has been regularly performing with a whole weekend of plays in Ursensollen. This promises the audience an evening filled with intimacy, pace, and that unmistakable audience reaction that only well-performed peasant theater can evoke. A story that sparks from everyday life
The Haagerthaler Bauernbühne stands for comedies where theater gold quickly emerges from seemingly familiar situations. Recent reports about the ensemble show a pattern of turbulent plots, surprising twists, and roles played with great authenticity. This is precisely the strength of this group: direction, timing, and acting artistry interlock until a small stage of escalation emerges from everyday life. Onetz describes the production as characterized by tears of laughter, perfect casting, and outstanding performances. The kubus as an ideal venue
The kubus in Ursensollen provides the right backdrop for such evenings. The hall has been equipped with modern lighting and sound technology since 2012, is barrier-free, fully air-conditioned, and designed for 256 seats in the orchestra and 48 seats in the gallery. Additionally, there is an expandable stage and acoustics that carry even the finest punchlines. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the building; access via the A6 further facilitates the visit. ([kubus-buehne.de](https://kubus-buehne.de/))
