Totally walkable to downtown, close to the city wall. Covered parking and open air parking. The way we interpreted the meter was that it’s free nights / free Sundays and free after 2 PM on Saturday 🤷🏻♀️ really affordable prices anyway. Coins only.

Located right on the edge of the old town, very close to the Trimax Hall, is the Kräuterwiese parking lot. Here you can park your car affordably. Parking is free from Saturday at 2 PM until Monday at 8 AM. During the week, the fee is €1.00 for up to 5 hours. Your vehicle will be parked safely and in a dry location. A great and inexpensive alternative for stress-free parking in a central location. The city deserves high praise and 5 stars for this! Electric vehicle charging stations are available on site, and there are no parking fees for charging. A fantastic service! 👍

I've always been able to find a parking space so far. The center of Amberg is within walking distance. A big plus is definitely that parking is free on Saturdays after 2 PM.

Parking in Amberg is surprisingly good. It seems to be free on weekends after certain times, but I can't remember the specific dates!
