OSTBAYERNHALLE Registration Office | Photos & Directions
The OSTBAYERNHALLE in Rieden-Kreuth is not an isolated event space, but part of the extensive Gut Matheshof, which functions simultaneously as an equestrian and tournament center, hotel location, and event area. This multifunctional use makes the location exciting for visitors, riders, organizers, and conference guests. Those looking for photos usually want to know first how large the site really is, how the arena looks, and how the complex consisting of halls, paths, parking lots, and additional rooms is structured. The official pages make it clear that much more is offered here than just a classic hall: The site includes riding halls, outdoor arenas, hotel areas, gastronomy, conference rooms, and a direct connection to the Festhalle Rieden. This is particularly important for finding the registration office, as the Ostbayernhalle often appears in an event-related context, serving as the logistical center of a tournament, show, or larger event. The first impression shows: Those searching for OSTBAYERNHALLE Registration Office, photos, directions, or parking are actually looking for a place with strong structure, high capacity, and clear processes. The official presentation emphasizes the combination of sports infrastructure and event capability, making the hall one of the most well-known points of contact in the Rieden-Kreuth area. Photos and First Impression of the OSTBAYERNHALLE
Those who want to get an image of the OSTBAYERNHALLE can find a number of visual cues on the official pages that capture the character of the place very well. The images show aerial views of the entire Gut Matheshof, interior views of conference rooms, festively laid tables in the Festhalle Rieden, and event situations on the grounds. This mix is particularly valuable for the search for photos, as it not only shows the hall itself but also the surroundings: riding areas, pastures, hotel areas, paths, and camping or parking zones. The impression is less that of a single multipurpose hall and more of a small infrastructure world built for large processes. The official website describes the Ostbayernhalle as a center with direct access to additional rooms and restaurants, and the municipality of Rieden also highlights the diverse rooms and gastronomic facilities. Additionally, there is a site plan available as a PDF that clarifies the spatial distribution on the grounds. For users searching with the term photos, this is important: It shows how the arena, conference rooms, hotel, and Festhalle relate to each other. The images also convey a typical atmosphere of order and space, which suits both equestrian sports and business formats. Those expecting event photos quickly recognize that the Ostbayernhalle works particularly well for events where logistics, arrival, guidance, and audience flows play a role. The grounds appear open, professional, and simultaneously rural, giving the location a distinctive character. ([gut-matheshof.de](https://www.gut-matheshof.de/en/))
Directions, Address, and Parking at the Ostbayernhalle
The address of the Ostbayernhalle is clear and officially documented: Hans-Nowak-Ring 1, 92286 Rieden, district of Kreuth. For directions, the official pages primarily indicate two classic routes. From Nuremberg, the route leads via the A6 to the Amberg South exit, and from Regensburg via the A93 towards Weiden to the Schwandorf South exit. From both exits, one should follow the signs to the Ostbayernhalle. These indications are practical because they show that the location, although situated in a rural area, is still easily accessible via major traffic routes. This is particularly relevant for visitors traveling for the first time, for suppliers, teams, or participants with horse transports, and for organizers who need reliable arrival logistics. Regarding parking, the official site also provides strong facts: Around the event center, there are over 4,000 paved parking spaces as well as additional alternative areas available. These areas can be flexibly used, for example, for driving training or as camping spaces. Thus, the Ostbayernhalle is not only attractive for day visitors but also for longer event formats with vans, trailers, or multiple visitor groups. The municipality of Rieden also confirms that gastronomy and extensive rooms are directly part of the facility, which shortens the distances on the grounds. Therefore, those searching for Ostbayernhalle directions or Ostbayernhalle parking will find no complicated city situation here, but a large-scale area designed for tournament and event operations with clear signage and plenty of parking space. This is a decisive advantage for larger events. ([gut-matheshof.de](https://www.gut-matheshof.de/))
Capacity, Floor Plan, and Rooms of the Ostbayernhalle
The capacity of the OSTBAYERNHALLE is one of its greatest advantages. The arena itself measures 80 x 40 meters and is flexibly configurable. Depending on usage, it can accommodate up to 6,400 visitors. Together with the stands, there are over 4,500 fixed seats available, and if needed, an additional 1,000 seats can be arranged. This makes the hall large enough for equestrian sports, shows, and audience formats, while also being flexible enough for conferences and special setups. Those searching for a floor plan are usually interested in the spatial logic of the house. Here, Gut Matheshof provides many practical points of reference: Surrounding the arena are 24 versatile rooms with areas up to 1,800 square meters. These rooms can serve as dressing rooms, changing rooms, production offices, or conference rooms. On the upper level of the Ostbayernhalle, 17 conference and group rooms are described, and in the Hotel Gut Matheshof, seven additional conference rooms are added. This shows that the facility is optimized not only for spectator seating but also for processes behind the scenes. For organizers, this means: floor plan and room plan are not just graphical aids here, but a real part of the usage model. Those needing hall edges, catering zones, technical areas, or retreat spaces will find them right on site. Additionally, the official description refers to modern sanitary areas and catering zones on every level. The Ostbayernhalle is thus not only large but also very well thought out organizationally. Especially for formats with many participants or horses, this combination of capacity, room offerings, and infrastructure is crucial. ([gut-matheshof.de](https://www.gut-matheshof.de/en/gtc/))
Registration Office, Tournaments, and Participant Information
The search term registration office indicates that many users are looking for the Ostbayernhalle not only as a location but as a concrete organizational point of contact. This fits well with its profile as a tournament center. At equestrian events, the registration office is usually the place where participants register, submit documents, receive start numbers, or obtain last-minute information. Current event pages for Kreuth clearly show this pattern. For example, a Western riding page lists daily opening hours of the registration office, a phone number, and information on required health documents. On another participant information page, the event is directly located in the Ostbayernhalle in Kreuth, including address and notes on parking and limited camping areas. This means: The registration office is not an abstract term here but part of the lived event routine. For participants, it is important that the specific times always depend on the respective announcement. Therefore, those searching for Ostbayernhalle registration office should always also read the current tournament or event communication, as it contains the valid contacts, opening hours, and documents. At the same time, these examples show how professionally the operation is organized: There are clear indications for arrival, registration process, and technical procedures. Especially in equestrian sports, this plays a significant role because start lists, boxes, health certificates, and time slots must be coordinated cleanly. The Ostbayernhalle is therefore not just a large hall but a precisely functioning hub for participants, helpers, and organizers. ([westernriding-online.de](https://www.westernriding-online.de/?utm_source=openai))
Events, Conferences, and Use at Gut Matheshof
The Ostbayernhalle is interesting as an event location far beyond equestrian sports. The official pages list typical formats such as trade fairs, concerts, conferences, seminars, and meetings. This makes it a classic multipurpose location that can be used for sports, business, or cultural purposes depending on the need. Particularly strong is the connection to the Festhalle Rieden, which offers a flexible event space of about 1,800 square meters and can accommodate up to 1,200 guests. The hall can be divided into ten-meter sections by curtains, which is extremely practical for banquets, exhibitions, conferences, or presentations. At the same time, technical and seating options are available that allow for different event concepts. The direct connection between the Ostbayernhalle and the Festhalle also creates additional planning freedom, as rooms and areas can be combined. For larger formats, it is also important that the entire event center can accommodate up to 12,000 guests; in the outdoor areas, even events with up to 20,000 guests are possible. This number shows that the grounds are not just a hall but a comprehensive event system. Additionally, the official site mentions a very extensive technical equipment, including projection and microphone technology, stage lighting, dance floor, and truss systems. Therefore, those searching for Ostbayernhalle events should not only think of equestrian sports but also of business formats, club events, special trade fairs, and large public events. Gut Matheshof thus clearly positions itself as a place with a very broad usage profile, high adaptability, and short distances between the individual components of the area. ([gut-matheshof.de](https://www.gut-matheshof.de/en/gtc/))
History and Special Features of Gut Matheshof
The current Ostbayernhalle is the result of a long development. The official website traces the tradition of Matheshof back to 1671; according to written and oral traditions, the estate was owned by the Spies family until 1988. It was only in 1954 that it became a manor through the marriage between the Mathes and Kredler families. At that time, 160 hectares of land, an inn, and a riding school with a large riding hall were already part of the offering. Later, the manor inn was renovated, the Hotel Gut Matheshof was built, and the Hans-Nowak settlement was added. Step by step, the current East Bavarian Equestrian and Tournament Center emerged from facilities, halls, and stables. This historical development explains why the location appears so mature today: it did not emerge from a drawing board but has grown over generations. Among the special features are 5 riding halls, including the Ostbayernhalle measuring 40 x 80 meters, 8 riding arenas, an oval track, a racetrack, cross-country courses, and 250 hectares of pasture. The pages also mention 724 horse boxes; elsewhere, 550 bright and spacious boxes in 12 stables are referenced. This primarily shows the enormous size of the tournament grounds. For visitors, the combination of equestrian sports, hotel, gastronomy, and event logistics is also striking. The facility is thus not only functional but also historically grown and visually very distinctive. This is precisely why the Ostbayernhalle has a recognition value for many users that goes far beyond a normal hall. ([gut-matheshof.de](https://www.gut-matheshof.de/))

Excellent venue when CACIT Germany was held here. The arena is huge, well-organized, and very suitable for international working dog events. There is plenty of parking available, which made arrival and departure smooth even with a large number of participants. The surrounding green areas are a big advantage, offering space for dogs to rest, warm up, and recover comfortably between runs. Overall, the infrastructure supports both handlers and dogs very well, and the layout makes the event feel professional and efficient despite its scale. A great location for high-level competitions.
