Sauna at Kurfürstenbad Amberg: Ladies' Sauna, Infusions, and Wellness Areas
The sauna landscape is one of the strongest unique selling points of the Kurfürstenbad. On the official sauna page, it is described as an independent experience world that aims to set new standards right in front of the venerable city walls of Amberg. The offering is broad and ranges from the saline inhalation bath to the laconium and the 85-degree sauna, as well as the infrared cabin, Swiss stone pine sauna, herbal sauna, Finnish sauna, small sauna, aroma bath, plunge pool, Kurfürsten sauna, pool, and gastronomy. The detailed information is particularly illustrative: the saline inhalation bath operates at about 45 degrees Celsius with high humidity, the laconium offers ten seating places at 45 degrees, the Finnish sauna reaches 85 degrees, the wellness pool is at 32 degrees, and the water world complements everything with experience showers, round showers, rain showers, and warmth benches. Therefore, those searching for sauna Amberg or Kurfürstenbad Amberg sauna will find a very concrete wellness profile instead of an interchangeable standard offering. ([kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de](https://www.kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de/sauna))
The quality of stay is also clearly described. There are various relaxation zones, a relaxation room with heat loungers, meditation music, and a starry sky, as well as ice fountains and plunge pools for cooling down after sauna sessions. The gastronomy in the sauna bistro ensures that water reserves and small snacks can be quickly replenished. For many guests, the ladies' sauna is also relevant: every Wednesday, the area is exclusively reserved for women to allow for a quiet and undisturbed sauna day. In the area with a view of the old town, mixed operation remains possible. The offering is complemented by a versatile infusion plan with invigorating, relaxing, and intense rituals, as well as changing special infusions from the team. This creates a sauna experience that combines classic warmth, light, scent, and tranquility with a very clear organizational structure. ([kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de](https://www.kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de/sauna))
Particularly interesting for inquiries such as Kurfürstenbad Amberg sauna prices or Kurfürstenbad Amberg sauna opening hours is the connection of clear tariffs and regular specials. The official website refers to events such as long sauna evenings, special infusions, and thematic experiences, such as family, Valentine's, or themed evenings. The basic logic remains simple: a regular admission, along with a changing program of infusions, relaxation phases, and special formats. For guests looking for a planable wellness break, this is an advantage because they receive not just a sweat bath but a curated experience. Therefore, those specifically searching for ladies' sauna, infusion plan, or relaxation event will find a sauna with substantial offerings, clear times, and a very broad wellness spectrum at the Kurfürstenbad. ([kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de](https://www.kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de/sauna))
Leisure Pool with Slide, Children's Pool, and Plenty of Space for Swimming
In the leisure pool, the Kurfürstenbad shows its family-friendly side. With seven pools, it offers enough variety for sporty swimmers to swim peacefully while children can still have their own water experience. The official site mentions swimmer pools, non-swimmer pools, aqua fit hall, warm water pool, hot whirlpools, experience pool, paddling pool, steam bath, and restaurant as part of the offering. The water temperature starts at 27 degrees, creating a pleasantly warm environment for different target groups. For inquiries like Kurfürstenbad Amberg children's pool or Kurfürstenbad Amberg slide, the children's paddling pool is particularly relevant: there is a separate baby slide, a little boat canal, and a water-spouting seal. Parents can watch from loungers right next to the pool, and the water is deliberately child-friendly warm at 34 degrees. ([kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de](https://www.kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de/freizeitbad/))
The sports section is also well developed. The swimmer pool has five lanes, is 25 meters long, and has a water temperature of 28 degrees. Additionally, there is the aqua fit hall for movement and course offerings. Those who want to relax can use the warm water pool at 34 degrees with massage jets, underwater loungers, or the two hot whirlpools at about 36 degrees and a water depth of 1 meter. A special highlight is the outdoor area, which can be accessed via a swimming channel. There, the wild water channel and water mushroom provide additional variety, even when it is cold outside. Thus, a pool is created that works for both families and people with sports ambitions or relaxation wishes. ([kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de](https://www.kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de/freizeitbad/))
The most famous element in the leisure pool is the 84-meter-long Black Hole giant slide. Light effects and timing increase the fun factor and make the slide a clear attraction for children, teenagers, and anyone looking for a visible highlight in a leisure pool. Additionally, experience pools with water grottos and bubbling jets invite guests to linger. The official homepage summarizes it aptly: with seven pools and an offering for toddlers, teenagers, and adults, the pool meets very different needs. Therefore, those searching for Kurfürstenbad Amberg children's pool, slide, or family pool will find here not vague marketing but a clearly structured leisure pool with concrete water attractions. ([kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de](https://www.kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de/freizeitbad/))
Parking, Directions, and Restaurant: Ensuring a Relaxed Visit
Access to the Kurfürstenbad is uncomplicated, as the pool's website mentions its own parking garage with clear information. The parking garage at Kurfürstenbad is located at Schießstätteweg 8 in Amberg and is in close proximity to the congress center ACC. It is open daily from 0:00 to 24:00. The parking system operates with license plate recognition; the number plate is automatically recorded upon entry, and after the visit, payment is made at the machine or online. This is convenient for guests, as they do not have to take a ticket or operate a classic barrier. Especially at a location like the Kurfürstenbad, which combines a swimming pool, sauna, and restaurant, such a system is a real comfort factor. ([kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de](https://www.kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de/infos/))
The tariffs are also transparent. During the day, from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, the first started hour costs 1.50 euros, each additional started hour 1.00 euro, and the maximum daytime rate is 7.50 euros. At night from 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM, the first hour costs 1.00 euro, each additional 0.50 euros, and the maximum night rate is 2.00 euros. The maximum rate for 24 hours is 7.50 euros. Therefore, those looking to park at Kurfürstenbad Amberg will find a concrete and understandable solution right on site. Additionally, the pool itself is centrally located in the city, near the old town and ACC, making the visit attractive without long distances. The relaxed overall package also includes the restaurant D.E.I.N.E. Genuss Oase. On the official website, it is described as a place where an eventful day with the family can be rounded off culinary. In the leisure pool area, it is even stated that the restaurant is open about 350 days a year. Additionally, there is a relaxed atmosphere, an indoor and outdoor area with a terrace, and a daily menu that fits well after swimming or a walk in Amberg. Therefore, those searching for Kurfürstenbad Amberg restaurant will find not only a dining option but a real additional offering for longer stays. This combination of water, wellness, parking, and gastronomy makes the location uncomplicated and practical for many visitors. ([kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de](https://www.kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de/freizeitbad/))
Courses, Rehab Sports, Vouchers, and Bonus Card for Families and Frequent Visitors
The Kurfürstenbad is also a course and health location. The official website lists aqua fitness, aqua gymnastics, and power aqua jogging as offerings for anyone wanting to stay active in the water. Additionally, rehab sports in the water, described as a joint-friendly full-body workout, is stated to be unique in the region according to the website. The course times are specifically indicated: Mondays at 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 1:30 PM, Thursdays at 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, and Fridays at 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Therefore, those searching for Kurfürstenbad Amberg courses can plan very specifically and find not only general information but a real schedule and offering structure. ([kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de](https://www.kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de/infos/))
For children and families, swimming courses and baby swimming are particularly relevant. The children's swimming courses are offered by an external service provider and run in two time slots, each over eight sessions. The information on the website states 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM for 45-minute sessions and 4:00 PM and 5:15 PM for 60-minute sessions. Baby swimming is aimed at babies between 4 and 9 months, starts on Tuesdays from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM over eight sessions, and takes place in the warm water pool at 33 degrees. Additionally, there are special sessions on baby swimming days without extra charge for regular admission. This makes the pool interesting for parents with very small children and provides strong arguments for inquiries related to Kurfürstenbad Amberg children's pool, family pool, and baby swimming. ([kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de](https://www.kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de/freizeitbad/))
Regarding gifts, birthdays, and bonus cards, the Kurfürstenbad is clearly positioned. The website explicitly recommends value vouchers and a bonus card if you want to make someone happy. The bonus card is available in bronze, silver, and gold with credits of 100, 200, or 300 euros and discounts of 10, 15, or 20 percent on regular admission tickets. It is available at the cash register or online and can also be used for aqua courses, season tickets, and other offerings. For inquiries such as Kurfürstenbad Amberg voucher or Kurfürstenbad Amberg birthday, this is exactly the type of information that matters: not abstract, but directly usable. ([kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de](https://www.kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de/sauna))
Special Features, Kneipp, and Changing Events at Kurfürstenbad Amberg
In addition to bathing and sauna operations, the Kurfürstenbad also focuses on health, nature, and events. On the information page, the house is described with a Kneipp premium seal in silver. Additionally, the website explains that movement, relaxation, healthy nutrition, and nature experiences are brought together as a modern feel-good concept. There is also a Kneipp action day and thematic lectures on herbs and well-being. This shows that the Kurfürstenbad is not just a place to swim, but also an address for prevention and holistic recovery. Therefore, those searching for special experiences will find more here than just pools and saunas. ([kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de](https://www.kurfuerstenbad-amberg.de/infos/))
The event page also shows that something is regularly happening at the Kurfürstenbad. Family activities, Valentine's specials, candlelight swimming, long sauna evenings, and other events are described there. Sometimes live piano music, special infusions, extended sauna hours, or nude bathing in the leisure area are part of the program. This form of changing offerings makes the location seasonally interesting and ensures that returning guests always have new incentives.
For SEO inquiries such as Kurfürstenbad Amberg closed, Kurfürstenbad Amberg price increase, or Kurfürstenbad Amberg sauna opening hours, it is therefore sensible to always check the official website and the current dates. Especially with leisure and wellness offerings, the program can change, while the basic structure of opening hours, prices, and offerings remains clearly documented. A nice, very reasonably priced facility. We have only gone on weekdays and only to the sauna, so I cannot comment on weekends. But it's not terribly crowded. The food and drinks are good and they have a very nice selection of small saunas with one large one that has very nice hourly infusions. We visit about once a week or so for wellness.

I am glad I did not listen to the reviews and decided to go. It’s a nice facility with many areas for kids to go to. The two turnstiles are really not a big deal; one at the entrance and one after the lockers. You can use your pool card for them or the locker key, which you can wear as a bracelet. If parking is too expensive, you can park further down. We paid 1,40€ for the time we were there. If the “frozen/expensive” foods worry you, you can take your own and nobody will say anything. There are trashcans around where you can discard your trash and keep the area neat. The facilities are clean and you can see personnel around maintaining them. It was not freezing cold, like some of the reviews suggested. Weather outside was around 7 Celsius when we visited. Maybe it gets really cold inside when it’s really cold outside? We found a little corner with two chairs very easily. Cannot comment on the sauna, as I did not use it. Overall, a pretty good time. Will definitely be back.

Great family friendly pool with so many options for kids of all ages. They make everything easy with the cards they issue when you first arrive, allowing you to use a locker and receive a RFID bracelet to enter the facility and pay for food without needing to bring a wallet into the pool. I will miss taking my family. Recommend for any family looking for a close and fun event.

Have been to many pools, but the quality of water and comfort are the best. A little pricey and no free parking are the downside.

The pool and children's area are both exceptional. The slide is particularly impressive, and the sauna facilities are outstanding.
