A lovingly decorated and run little café. Good coffee and fresh, delicious cakes. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. €7 for a mug of coffee and a slice of cake is absolutely reasonable (as of 2025). If you're in the area and fancy a coffee and cake, this is the place to be.

A very cozy village café in the countryside. The prices are absolutely reasonable. There's also an adjoining room, which is also beautifully decorated. There were four different cake selections. The cake was delicious.

First off, the café and garden look very inviting and cozy. Regarding my situation: I (a trained hotel manager) was driving with my husband, baby, and toddler in the car and wanted to visit my great-grandmother. We spontaneously thought cake would be nice. We have a discount voucher booklet and wanted to use it. So I went in and asked if I could take some cake to go, and I had the booklet with me. Then the manager was called in. She seemed very nice and friendly and said yes, they could let me take the cake. The manager then said at least three times in a rather unpleasant tone that the discount booklet wasn't meant for takeaway but for getting to know the restaurant. So the manager echoed this opinion. I left without cake. I had better luck at another restaurant. The children and great-grandmother were happy. Unfortunately, the less-than-pleasant manner of the manager led to a negative first impression, and I won't be going back there. I couldn't enjoy them because I didn't sit down with my two small children. What a shame!
