Loved the vibe and atmosphere here! Servers were friendly. As a vegan, this was heaven! So many vegan and vegetarian options. I had the curry and it was incredible especially on a crisp night! I did not have a reservation but was able to sit at the bar. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Noteworthy: They have more vegan/vegetarian options than other restaurants. 👍 Food: We ordered vegetarian options, it was fresh and delicious. Excellent quality !! 👌 Atmosphere: We preferred to sit outside in sunny weather. Next to Vils is always so calm and relaxing. However only two people may sit there. Three chairs are not allowed there. 🙂 Service: Staffs are nice and friendly. But service was slow, although there were not much people in the restaurant, still it was taking much longer to get drinks and food.

Although the restaurant focuses on vegetarian and vegan cuisine, which suggests bold and exciting flavors, not all dishes lived up to this promise. The eggplant tartare, while nicely presented, was rather bland. The salads were generous in size but not particularly memorable. The seasonal soup was the highlight – tasty and well-seasoned – while the currywurst was nothing special. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. We waited for our food for over an hour because the waitress forgot to pass our order to the kitchen, and there was no apology or explanation afterwards. Overall, Das Notstain is worth visiting for its beautiful location and concept, but the flavors and service need more attention to truly impress.

The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, service is attentive and friendly, food presentation is fantastic....right out of a magazine picture. However, the flavor of the pasta dish, the risotto and the steak were lacklustre, I mean like super bland. I see what they are trying to do here, and love everything they are doing, but the dishes do require some seasoning in them to make them pop....otherwise the price won't be justifiable unfortunately.
