Pettersson and Findus bring Christmas magic to Kastl

When the little cat Findus dreams of Santa Claus, a warm-hearted stage experience for the whole family begins at the Sports Home Mennersberg. The Theater from Rabenberg transforms Sven Nordqvist's beloved children's book world into a lovingly designed puppet theater full of humor, excitement, and festive atmosphere.

A Christmas wish with obstacles

Findus wishes nothing more than for Santa Claus to visit him too. But Santa Claus supposedly only visits human children and not cats. Just before Christmas Eve, the situation worsens: Pettersson sprains his foot, and suddenly the most beautiful festival of the year seems to be in danger.

Rod puppets and hand-painted stage sets

The production relies on a cheerful rod puppet play with distinctive characters and hand-painted backgrounds. The combination of precise puppet manipulation, child-friendly dramaturgy, and lively acting creates a theatrical atmosphere that immediately immerses young viewers in Pettersson's and Findus's winter world.

Puppet theater for children aged three and up

The Theater from Rabenberg targets children aged three and over and their families with the performance. The approximately 50-minute show tells of friendship, hope, and the power of shared ideas. The story also remains appealing to adults: Between comical moments and Christmas sentiments unfolds a small plea for solidarity.

A festive stage experience for the whole family

Beaming children's eyes, familiar characters, and the concentrated magic of puppetry shape the audience's reaction. The acoustics of the hall, the moving stage set, and the loving puppet work turn a simple Christmas story into an immediate live experience.

Conclusion: Pettersson and Findus invite you to an entertaining and heartwarming family performance. Anyone who wants to dive into a imaginative Christmas world with children will experience puppet theater with humor, warmth, and a lot of stage magic in Kastl.
