Strong team spirit, mud, and adrenaline: StrongDog wild & dirty SOUTH 2026

On April 4 and 5, 2026, the East Bavarian Equestrian Sports and Tournament Center Kreuth at Gut Matheshof transforms into an Eldorado for sled dog sports: At StrongDog wild & dirty SOUTH, 2, 5 or 8 kilometers, obstacles, nature trails, and goosebump moments await both man and dog.

Event atmosphere: From the starting number to the finish line

The alarm rings early, the starting number is on, the dog dances with excitement – and then it’s off: Individual starts in 30–60 second intervals, smooth organization, clear course direction. On meadows, forest paths, and over obstacles, an atmosphere for the audience emerges: cowbells, applause, and the clinking of the finisher's medal.

Routes & modes: Short, Mid, Long – and Night Run

Choose the Shortrun (approx. 2 km, about 10 obstacles), the Midrun (approx. 5 km, about 20 obstacles), or the Longrun (approx. 8 km, up to 30 obstacles). New this time: the Canicross Night Run without obstacles on Saturday evening – headlamp on and into the adventure.

Expertise in implementation: Safety, vet check, equipment

Event planning with an eye for detail: mandatory vet check at fixed times, starting number distribution in slots, clear participation conditions according to the Animal Welfare Dog Regulation. Recommended are suitable harnesses, Canicross belts, and leashes (1.5–2.8 m). The well-coordinated StrongDog event management ensures seamless organization.

Location advantages: East Bavarian Hall & Tournament Center

The East Bavarian Hall scores with short distances, gastronomy, and plenty of parking spaces. For non-equestrian events, it offers space for up to 12,000 visitors – ideal infrastructure for smooth processes, weather protection, and local service.

Camping & on-site service

Camping on the grounds is possible (limited spaces). High-quality shower and sanitary containers, as well as catering with breakfast and lunch, provide comfort between warm-up and award ceremony.
