With heavy equipment for a good cause: The OBM charity digging in Amberg
On Saturday, November 28, 2026, the grounds of OBM Baumaschinen in Amberg will once again transform into an adventure world for digging fans, families, and supporters of social projects. Starting at 10:00 AM, it's time to hop in, move the levers, and make a positive impact with every action.
Experience construction machines up close
At the charity digging event, large and small visitors will be right in the middle of the action. Excavators, bulldozers, and other construction machines will not only be admired but will also be operated under expert guidance. Amid engine noises, focused gazes, and a palpable excitement of a different kind, every grip on the control lever will become a special experience.
Family program with a special highlight
The family festival offers plenty of variety for children and adults. A special highlight awaits guests in 2026 for the first time with players from the Blue Devils: At a signing session, hockey fans can get close to their sports idols. This event uniquely combines technological enthusiasm, fan culture, and social commitment.
Helping together, experiencing together
The charity digging thrives on the connection between entertainment and support. The event builds on a tradition of OBM Baumaschinen that has been ongoing since 2014. The company opens its operating grounds to the region and makes modern construction machines accessible to the public. According to the event announcement, admission is free; the focus of the participatory offerings is on the good cause.
Stadium atmosphere meets construction site action
When audience noise, fan chants, and the characteristic roar of machines come together, a distinctive atmosphere is created. The Blue Devils bring additional energy to the grounds, while the excavators provide powerful movement. Instead of tactics, formations, and pressing, it is skill at the control lever that determines the next successful operation.
Visitors can expect a lively family day filled with technology, encounters, and a clear message: Those who come will experience construction machines up close while also supporting a charity action. Pack your family and friends, save the date, and experience the OBM charity digging live.
