David becomes a real stage hero
During the autumn holidays, the Old E-Werk in Sulzbach-Rosenberg transforms into a vibrant musical workshop: Children between 7 and 13 years old work together on the exciting children's bible musical David – a really cool hero. Catchy hits, memorable tunes, colorful costumes, and lots of children's laughter make this family experience a special learning adventure.
Music, movement, and strong emotions
The story of David and Goliath connects excitement, courage, and community. The children experience the plot not just as spectators but become actors on stage themselves. Singing, acting, movement, and creative design encourage expression, self-confidence, and teamwork in a child-friendly way.
Growing together in an age-appropriate manner
The project is aimed at children aged 7 to 13 years and offers an age-appropriate mix of learning fun, musical development, and shared time. During rehearsals, new friendships develop, secure performance routines are established, and a strong sense of community emerges. The musical concept by Ruthild Wilson and Helmut Jost has been developed for children's bible weeks, choir projects, school projects, and community performances.
A holiday week full of musical moments
From Monday, November 2, to Friday, November 6, 2026, participating children will meet each morning from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. During this time, roles, songs, costumes, and scenes will come together step by step. The grand finale will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, with the performance in the afternoon.
Educational value and safety
Making music together strengthens concentration, body awareness, and social development. Children learn to take responsibility, listen to each other, and pursue a common goal. Registration is required. Parents should confirm participation in advance with the organizer.
Conclusion: Families can expect a heartwarming children's musical with energetic music, imaginative costumes, and a story about courage, trust, and togetherness. Those who want to experience children's laughter, stage magic, and genuine shared time should witness the performance of David – a really cool hero live.
