Michael Stahl brings Pianissimo to Amberg
On Sunday, December 20, 2026, the Kurfürstenbad Amberg will transform into a special concert venue: During the Pianissimo Tour 2026, visitors will experience pianist and composer Michael Stahl live. The performance begins at 14:00.
Sentimental piano music with a personal touch
Michael Stahl combines emotional original compositions with well-known ballads and selected oldies. His repertoire ranges from romantic piano music to chill-out songs, swing, jazz, rock, and pop. This creates a versatile concert evening that evokes musical memories while also opening space for one's own sound images.
From music studies to the stage
The musician from Franconia completed a music degree at the Hochschule für Musik in Nuremberg. As a pianist, composer, keyboardist, arranger, and music educator, he works in various musical formations. His stage and event references include jazz festivals in Burghausen and Dresden, as well as performances at galas, cultural events, and prestigious venues.
Orchestration at the piano
Even without a large ensemble, Stahl develops a dense musical dramaturgy at the piano. Melodic lines, rhythmic accents, and finely graduated dynamics interact, giving familiar pieces a personal flair. The stage performance thrives on direct sound, clear articulation, and an atmosphere that creates closeness to the audience.
A concert between ballad and sound journey
The Pianissimo Tour is aimed at all those who want to experience piano music in different facets. Soft ballads meet familiar oldies, while original compositions expand the musical framework. This creates a varied concert experience with quiet moments, warm harmonies, and lively musical transitions.

The Pianissimo Tour 2026 promises a memorable concert afternoon with Michael Stahl and his versatile piano repertoire.
