An evening full of Swing, Blues and Boogie at the Golden Griffin
When the Alligators of Swing perform, elegant trio aesthetics meet vibrant stage presence. The concert evening in Edelsfeld on May 14, 2027, promises to mix the sound cosmos of the 40s and 50s with its own profile: swinging grooves, bluesy depth, and Boogie-Woogie energy paired with pointed moderation and playful stories between the songs. The trio has been described in press and program texts for years with the charm of Ray Charles, the spirit of Nat King Cole, and the wit of Louis Jordan. Vintage sound with fresh stage culture
The Alligators of Swing rely on a trio formation that makes every detail audible: clear lines, fine orchestration, and a direct live atmosphere. This reduction creates tension as every rhythm figure, every vocal passage, and every small synchronization contributes to the interplay. The result is not a nostalgic look back but a concert experience full of precision, warmth, and tempo. The formation has a long band history since 1989 and extensive international concert experience. Between anecdote and attack
The evening is particularly powerful where the musicians not only play but also tell stories. Amusing anecdotes, fine humor, and charming transitions give the songs room to breathe. This creates an audience atmosphere that oscillates between relaxed swaying and genuine enthusiasm. Those who love Swing, Blues, and Boogie-Woogie will not get a smooth revue here, but a lively stage performance with character, timing, and a musical fingerprint. A place with tavern charm and festive spirit
The Golden Griffin is located at Sulzbacher Straße 5 in Edelsfeld. The venue is known as an inn and hotel and is centrally located in the town; Edelsfeld itself is situated in the Amberg-Sulzbach district. This fits perfectly with the Kirchweih atmosphere: down-to-earth, approachable, and with the right mix of sociability and live music. Historically documented Kirchweih dates at the same location also indicate that festivities regularly take place at Sulzbacher Straße 5.
