On November 8, 2026, the Amberg Cultural Barn invites families to a special theater experience: The hand puppet theater tells the well-known fairy tale The Bremen Town Musicians. The event is aimed at families with children aged four and older, providing a child-friendly access to a timeless story.
A Fairy Tale as a Hand Puppet Play
The focus is on the Bremen Town Musicians, whose story has been known for generations. As a hand puppet theater, the fairy tale receives a vivid and illustrative form. The characters are not portrayed by actresses and actors, but as puppets on stage. This creates a special theater atmosphere that is particularly suitable for younger children.
The fairy tale combines familiar motifs with an imaginative staging. Families can experience together how the story of the Bremen Town Musicians is told in hand puppet theater. For children ages four and older, attending can be a wonderful opportunity to gain their first experiences with a theater performance.
A Shared Cultural Experience for Families
The event at the Amberg Cultural Barn is expressly aimed at families with children. Parents, grandparents, and other accompanying persons can experience the theater visit together with their little ones. The well-known fairy tale provides a familiar starting point, while the presentation with hand puppets unfolds its own special effect.
Those looking for a family-friendly cultural offering in Amberg will find this hand puppet theater to be a suitable event for a joint outing. The date is well-suited to combine a November day with a fairy tale experience.
